GreeNation Plantation Drive

The tree plantation drive was conducted with an aim to control global  warming, make environment pollution free and spread awareness on the  importance of keeping a clean environment, it stated. As part of the  initiative, saplings were planted by the PSEC Members.

Some Core Fundamental Principles of GreeNation Plantation Drive which  makes it unique project:

1. Seed Ball Dispersion on waste Land in various location.
2. Spreading Vermicompost and dried leaves on land patches.
3. Planning for water bodies
4. Using The Miyawaki forestation method and permaculture techniques  to build Urban food forest.
5. Taking care and timely actions for sustainable development of the  resource.
6. Spreading awareness about importance of urban forests and  Permaculture method of cultivation.

During the event, the members were educated about the importance of  trees in maintaining ecological equilibrium, Benefits of Urban forest, Ponds,  soil flora and fauna and Trees were discussed and free planters and plants  were distributed.

As part of the initiative, besides planting the saplings, masks, sanitizers and  other essential items were provided to the beneficiaries.
