Technical Assessment of BMW management in Agra by UNEP Bio Medical Waste (BMW)

Core Fundamental Task Accomplished by PSEC in Technical Assessment of BMW  Management in Agra by UNEP in collaboration with Toxic Link were:

1. Exposed illegal collection and segregation sites of used & contaminated syringes, needles, iv sets and other hazardous bio medical waste.

1. Researched and Exposed Bio Medical Waste illegal shredding and baling sites.
2. Visited BMW Generators sites and prepared a holistic survey of each sample.
3. Prepared Detailed Reports on BMW Management survey evaluations and  data.
4. Collected and Processed various bio medical waste management related data  and concerns from BMW Generators and Operators.
5. Listed and advised for sustainable and applicable solutions in the existing  infrastructure of BMW in Agra
6. Fixed Meeting and appointment with government officials and presented the  concerns of BMW generators.
7. Visited vaccination centers of Covid 19 for BMW management.
8. Spread awareness for the importance of BMW Management among hospital  staff nurses and wards staff.
9. Assessed the BMW Operator in Agra and discussed about the shortcoming of  the existing infrastructure and what solutions can be implemented for smooth  functioning of BMW management.
10. Conducted and scheduled meeting for planning of training sessions for BMW  Management Training at city of Agra.
